Anchor and Hope (2017)

Eva and Kat lead a blissful life aboard their houseboat on a London canal. However, the death of their beloved pet prompts Eva to reconsider her desire for motherhood. While Kat is content with the idea of adopting a new cat, a visit from Kat's friend Roger from Barcelona leads to an unexpected twist. After a night of drinking, they impulsively agree that Roger will be Eva's sperm donor. This decision sets off a chain of events that challenges their relationship dynamics and raises questions about family, love, and the complexities of parenting.
