Matt Gordon arrives in post-war Singapore, driven by the pursuit of a hidden treasure of smuggled pearls. As he navigates the city, memories of his enchanting fiancée, Linda, surface, recalling her mysterious vanishing during the Japanese invasion. To his shock, Linda reappears, but she's lost her memory and is now wed to affluent planter Van Leyden.
