After an eight-year hiatus, the New York City Ballet graces Paris with a captivating performance celebrating the works of three influential French composers: Charles Gounod, Maurice Ravel, and Georges Bizet. The program highlights Balanchine's innovative neo-classical style through four remarkable ballets that reflect his deep connection to France. Among these, the Walpurgisnacht Ballet, initially choreographed for Faust in 1975, later debuted independently in New York.
