An uneasy dinner party in 1959 New England sets the stage for unexpected tensions. A biracial couple, striving for progress, visits the home of a seemingly ordinary artist and a dubious psychiatrist. As the night unfolds, their interactions spiral into a manipulative game that reveals the hidden insecurities and prejudices of each guest.
