Overview

Sixteen-year-old Kayla Adams faces a turning point when her mother, Karen, sends her to a youth residential treatment center after expulsion from school. Upon arrival in Utah, she meets Amanda, a seasoned resident who reveals the harsh realities of the facility. Under the oppressive control of headmistress Miss Connie, the staff employs brutal tactics such as force-feeding, arbitrary punishments, and isolation to maintain order. Stripped of their freedoms and support, Kayla and Amanda must unite to endure the abuse and uncover the truth about their harrowing environment before they lose their chance for escape.
