Third Man on the Mountain (1959)

Renowned British climber, Jim Winter, sets his sights on the formidable Citadel but struggles to find a guide in a remote village. Eager to prove himself, Rudi Matt, whose father perished while attempting the same peak, seeks to join Winter on this perilous journey, with support from his uncle. Winter ultimately recruits rival guide Emil Saxo from a nearby village, forming a team of four. Together, they embark on an ambitious ascent of the untouched summit, facing both physical challenges and personal legacies with each step towards the peak.
