Hands Up (2021)

Following the tragic shooting of his cousin by a white police officer in Chicago, a young Black teen finds himself engulfed in the turmoil of the Black Lives Matter protests sweeping the city. Struggling with grief and anger, he seeks a path to escape the violence and chaos that define his environment, determined to carve out a better future amid the challenges of living in one of America's most dangerous cities. His journey becomes a fight not only for survival but for hope and change in a world marked by systemic injustice.
