Get Shorty (1995)
In "Get Shorty," Chili Palmer, a Miami mobster, is dispatched to Los Angeles to retrieve a debt owed by Harry Zimm, a producer known for his low-budget horror flicks. Upon arriving, Chili encounters Harry's glamorous starlet, igniting an unexpected romance. Inspired, he pitches his own life experiences as a film concept.
