The Baby and the Battleship (1956)
Able Seaman Knocker White inadvertently ends up with a baby after a mishap involving his fiancée’s Italian relatives. As his ship prepares to depart, he can’t return the child, so he enlists his friend Puncher Roberts to sneak the baby on board. What begins as a simple task evolves into a chaotic adventure, as the crew finds themselves unexpectedly responsible for caring for the infant, juggling their duties while keeping the baby hidden. Meanwhile, the ship's officers grow suspicious of the peculiar events unfolding on deck, leading to a humorous and heartwarming situation.
