Great Yarmouth: Provisional Figures (2022)

In October 2019, just before Brexit, Great Yarmouth sees an influx of Portuguese migrant workers flocking to its turkey factories. Tânia, once a dedicated employee in these poultry plants, now married to an English hotelier, takes it upon herself to support the newcomers. While she helps them navigate the challenges of their new environment, Tânia harbors aspirations of becoming a British citizen. She envisions a future where she can escape the harsh realities of her past by rejuvenating her husband's rundown hotels into vibrant homes for the elderly.
