When Black Birds Fly (2016)
Heaven appears to be an idyllic suburban haven, governed by a single strict rule: avoid contact with "The Evil One" lurking beyond the towering wall encircling the community. Chaos ensues when a boy, in pursuit of a mysterious figure, encounters a talking kitten with an injured leg. Meanwhile, a curious child slips through a gap in the wall and encounters the Evil One, who seeks to reveal the forbidden truths that have long been kept from the townspeople. As secrets unravel, the innocence of their paradise is put to the test.
