Overview

O-bok grapples with a chaotic life as her eldest daughter prepares for an unwelcome marriage to a well-off suitor. Amidst oppressive heat, her daughters' obsession with wealth, her mother’s dementia, and her husband's drinking, O-bok feels trapped. The final straw comes when she discloses a painful secret: she was raped by a fellow fish vendor who is now rallying the traders against their landlords. Fueled by rage and frustration, she decides to seek justice on her own terms, rejecting the ineffective police and ready for confrontation.
