Payday (2018)

Overview

In a small-town diner, an amateur thief named Ben attempts a robbery that quickly descends into chaos, resulting in a hostage situation he can't manage. Among the captives is his girlfriend, Adie Graham, the restaurant manager and a calculating sociopath. Unbeknownst to Ben, Adie's real motive is to execute the heist as a cover for her own embezzlement scheme. As he juggles negotiations with law enforcement while concealing her role, Adie engages in a treacherous game of manipulation, determined to secure her freedom at any cost, regardless of the collateral damage.
