Godland (2022)
Set in the late 1800s, a young Danish priest embarks on a journey to a secluded region of Iceland with the goal of constructing a church and capturing the essence of its inhabitants through photography. However, as he ventures further into the harsh and isolating terrain, he begins to lose sight of his original mission, confronting challenges that test his faith and ethics. The stunning yet unforgiving Icelandic landscape becomes a backdrop for his internal struggle, revealing the complexities of his character and the true nature of his quest.
