Overview

Set in the vibrant summer of 1965, a spirited young man enjoys the carefree life of Broome, an enchanting pearling port, filled with fishing, friends, and romance. His idyllic days take a turn when his mother sends him back to a strict religious mission for continued education. After facing punishment for a rebellious act, he decides to escape. His adventurous journey becomes a quest for freedom and self-discovery, ultimately guiding him back to his beloved home and the life he cherishes.
