Football enthusiast Henry Platt, portrayed by William Henry, experiences an embarrassing blunder when he mistakes a helmet for the ball during a pivotal game, leading to his infamous title of "Dope of the Year." When gambler Big George Kilraine, played by Harold Huber, enlists Henry to transport $107,000 in winnings to Chicago, chaos ensues. The money inadvertently drops from the plane and lands in a state penitentiary. Now, Henry must devise a clever plan to infiltrate the prison and retrieve the lost cash, navigating a series of comedic challenges along the way.
