Marianne's life takes a drastic turn when her husband is laid off, prompting a move from sunny Beverly Hills to the chaotic streets of New York City. Seeking to uplift her new surroundings, she enlists the help of the eccentric psychic Reva for some apartment redecorating. However, their plans quickly spiral into chaos as they find themselves pursued by a dangerous killer.
