Overview

Carsten Neuer, a German businessman, journeys to Norway to tackle the daunting task of translating the poems of Tarjei Vesaas into Chinese, a project initiated by his late wife. He enlists Niko, a struggling tour guide, to take him to the poet's home and inspiring locales for creative insight. Along their travels, Carsten is haunted by visions of his wife, while Niko grapples with the implications of his girlfriend's unexpected pregnancy. As they navigate their challenges, both men discover the profound impact of love, the constraints of language, and the essential value of companionship.
