Overview

In the film "Elling," 40-year-old Elling, an introspective aspiring poet, finds himself placed in a state institution following the death of his overprotective mother, who had cared for him throughout his life. At the facility, he forms a friendship with Kjell Bjarne, a kind-hearted and love-struck virgin in his 40s.
