Overview

Macie, portrayed by Patty Srisuwan, is a Thai immigrant raised in North America who finds herself caring for her grandfather, played by John Rhys-Davies, as he battles dementia. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she learns that her birth mother might still be alive, contrary to the belief that she perished in a tsunami fifteen years prior. Driven by the desire to uncover her roots, Macie enlists her grandfather’s help on a journey of discovery that forces her to confront the meaning of family and her own identity.
