Overview

Cowardly conman Harry Flashman, portrayed by Malcolm McDowell, longs for a taste of aristocracy in 19th-century Europe. His fortunes change when he encounters two cunning nobles who persuade him to impersonate a fictitious Prussian noble to win the heart of a stunning duchess. However, this ill-conceived ruse spirals out of control, thrusting Flashman into a chaotic escape as he finds himself pursued by an array of enemies eager to capture him.
