Overview

Douglas Quaid, a construction worker fascinated by Mars, decides to explore his dreams by visiting Recall, a firm that specializes in memory implants. However, when the procedure malfunctions, Doug finds himself trapped in a bewildering web of uncertainty, unable to distinguish between what is real and what is merely a fabricated memory.
