King of My Castle

Overview

A wealthy hotel proprietor enlists a director to construct an elaborate 18th-century village for a unique project. Meanwhile, he orchestrates the kidnapping of his entitled son, subjecting him to a harsh lesson in humility. The son is drugged and awakens in the recreated past, led to believe he has time-traveled as a form of punishment. Monitored closely, he must navigate the struggles of peasant life, learning valuable lessons about hardship and responsibility in a world far removed from his pampered existence.
