Overview

In the quaint village where Rhubarb Vaselino resides, he and his companion Sapo participate in a bullfighting contest. Tragically, Sapo loses his life, but Rhubarb emerges victorious, slaying three bulls and gaining fame and fortune. Fast forward two years, Rhubarb is now a celebrated figure in Madrid. However, his romantic entanglement with Filet de Sol complicates matters when his lover discovers the affair. This revelation forces him to confront Spain's most formidable bullfighter in a climactic showdown during the season's final bullfight, testing his courage and resilience.
