Monstrum

Overview

Set in 1506 Korea, the oppressive King Yeonsan-gun is ousted by his half-brother Jung-jong, whose rule quickly descends into violence. As betrayal festers and instability grips the kingdom, the situation worsens. By 1528, the royal court is shaken by chilling whispers of a legendary beast haunting the land, dubbed Monstrum by the terrified villagers. Amidst political turmoil and the looming threat of this monstrous entity, Jung-jong must navigate treachery and fear to restore order to his crumbling realm.
