On the vibrant Day of the Dead, young Chiqui is heartbroken over the absence of his mother, Julieta, who vanished two years ago to pursue her dream in The Beyond—a whimsical realm where the deceased compete in an annual talent show for the title of Greatest Singer Beyond the Beyond. Chiqui is determined to reunite with his mother during her performance, so he embarks on an adventurous quest alongside his father, Diego, a formidable luchador.
