Oh! Heavenly Dog (1980)
Browning, a private investigator suffering from a nasty cold, takes on a mysterious case that leads him to the body of a young woman. Unfortunately, he meets his own demise shortly after, only to find himself in heaven, where he's deemed "marginal material." To secure his fate, he must return to Earth as a small, fluffy dog named Benji and solve his own murder. Navigating the challenges of his new canine form, Browning embarks on a comedic quest to unravel his death, save the girl, and bring the culprit to justice.
