Overview

Deep in the Hat Creek desert, ranchers discover half-eaten cattle and suspect a wolf is behind the attacks. Alcoholic Sheriff Annie Flynn is summoned by local farmer Rob Horn to inspect the animal remains—necessary for filing a government reimbursement claim. He also needs her help dealing with a tanker truck that’s overturned, blocking the road.
