The Hit (1979)
Dr. Shuki Chaftziva, a ballroom dance instructor, ventures into matchmaking by tracking obituaries. He takes his client, Zigi Fuchsman, an auto mechanic and childhood friend, to console the grieving families while scouting potential widows and their estates. Meanwhile, Ben Gurion Shemesh, an aspiring singer and fellow mechanic, is determined to capture the attention of Dina, a lively disco enthusiast and Zigi's daughter. Amidst the intertwining lives, humor and unexpected connections unfold, revealing the complexities of love and friendship in their unique world.
