Facing the imminent loss of her “midnight gymnasium” initiative aimed at troubled teens, social worker Yanki assembles a dodgeball team as a last-ditch effort to secure funding. Enlisting the guidance of a washed-up former athlete turned coach, the diverse group of girls discovers that while avoiding their issues may provide a short escape, true growth comes from confronting and overcoming their struggles.
