Eleven years ago, on Christmas Eve, the Boyajians got word that their son John, just 18, had died in the Persian Gulf War. Ever since, they’ve let the holiday pass in silence, the joy of Christmas buried under grief. But one night, a stranger appears at their door—someone who seems to understand their pain. Slowly, his quiet presence begins to warm their frozen hearts, reminding them what the season is really about.
