Vincent, a prosperous real estate agent, joins his sister Elizabeth and her academic husband Peter for dinner in Paris. They are joined by Claude, a childhood friend and trombonist. During the evening, Vincent reveals the name he and his wife Anna have chosen for their unborn son, igniting outrage among the group.
