Overview

Rintaro (Sometani Shota) returns home after a long absence to prepare for his father's funeral, only to discover that his mother has scrapped the catering plans. Instead, she opts to honor her late husband's wishes by cooking the meals herself. The first offering she presents is a humble dish of sunny side up eggs, leaving mourners puzzled. As the gathering unfolds, Rintaro reflects on the significance of this simple meal, recalling it as the first dish his father ever prepared for him and his sister, deepening the emotional connection to their shared past.
