Five years after defeating the apocalypse, Laura and Carmilla enjoy a peaceful life in Toronto, with Carmilla adapting to her new human existence and Laura pursuing her journalism career. Their tranquility is shattered when Carmilla exhibits unsettling signs of reverting to her vampiric nature, craving blood and displaying unexpected biting instincts. Meanwhile, Laura experiences eerie, ghostly dreams that hint at deeper troubles. Realizing they face an unknown supernatural menace, the couple turns to their old friends from Silas University for help in unraveling the mystery and saving both humanity and Carmilla's new life.
