Overview

After her husband Alex, a television star, opts for divorce to pursue a political career, Maddy finds herself in a downward spiral. Desperate and overwhelmed, she resorts to shoplifting, landing her in jail and losing custody of her baby. Determined to reclaim her child, Maddy devises a daring escape plan with her friend Gillian, who is also evading legal trouble due to credit card fraud.
