Zatoichi Challenged (1967)
While resting at an inn, Ichi encounters a tragic situation when a woman passes away, entrusting him with the care of her son, urging him to find the boy's father, an artist in a nearby town. Upon arrival, Ichi discovers that the father is under duress from a local crime lord, coerced into producing illegal adult material to settle his gambling debts. Determined to rescue the artist and restore the family, Ichi faces challenges, including a confrontation with a samurai he had formed a tentative alliance with on his journey.
