Overview

After D.H. Lawrence's controversial novel "The Rainbow" faces censorship and destruction, he and his wife, Frieda, seek refuge in the United States before relocating to Mexico. However, when Lawrence falls ill with tuberculosis, they briefly return to England. Their journey continues to Italy, where Lawrence finds inspiration and pens his iconic work, "Lady Chatterley's Lover."
