Overview

Upon her release from prison, Sherry Swanson, a recovering drug addict, aims to reunite with her young daughter, who has been cared for by relatives. However, her family, particularly her sister-in-law, questions Sherry's capability to be a responsible parent. As she fights to prove herself and regain custody, Sherry grapples with her past and the temptation to relapse, which threatens her determination to remain sober and rebuild her life with her child.
