Ride Along (2014)
High-school security guard Ben has spent two years trying to prove to decorated detective James that he’s more than a mere gamer and worthy of his sister Angela. After gaining acceptance into the police academy, Ben seeks James' approval for Angela's hand in marriage. To test Ben's mettle, James takes him on a ride-along meant to challenge the rookie. However, their chaotic night takes a turn when they confront the city's most infamous criminal. James soon realizes that Ben's quick wit might be just as perilous as the bullets they face.
