Poor Little Rich Girl (1936)
Barbara Barry, a pampered rich girl, is dispatched to school by her well-meaning but preoccupied father, a soap manufacturer. However, when her nurse suffers an accident during their travels, Barbara finds herself abandoned in the city. Seizing the opportunity, she joins the radio act Dolan and Dolan, backed by a competing soap company. As she navigates this new world, the adventure leads her to discover her own talents and the joys of independence, all while challenging her sheltered upbringing.
