Overview

In "The Four Feathers," a young British officer, Harry Faversham, abandons his military post upon discovering his regiment's deployment to Sudan amidst the Mahdist uprising. His decision prompts his friends and fiancée to send him four white feathers, marking their perception of his cowardice.
