Overview

Brother Number One explores the harrowing story of Kerry Hamill, a New Zealand sailor tortured and killed by the Khmer Rouge in 1978. The documentary chronicles his brother, Rob Hamill, an accomplished Olympic and Trans-Atlantic rower, as he embarks on a poignant journey to Cambodia. Rob seeks to uncover the truth about Kerry's fate by retracing his brother's final steps alongside fellow victim John Dewhirst.
