Overview

Chris Christofferson, an aging sailor, anxiously awaits the return of his daughter Anna, whom he sent away to live with relatives when she was just five. Expecting a respectable young woman, he is taken aback when Anna arrives, revealing a life marked by hardship and struggle. Despite her troubled past, she finds herself drawn to a young sailor whom her father rescued from the sea.
