Overview

A quest for imperial treasure unfolds as Ibrahim Bender and his apprentice, Ostap, chase after a coveted scepter that slipped into the hands of anarchist leader Nestor Makhno. Believing it to be one relic among many hidden in the region, Makhno draws the attention of mafia factions, partisans, and both Red and White army officers, all eager to claim the wealth. As the duo navigates this treacherous landscape, Ostap must also contend with personal stakes—his beloved is losing faith in him, and he’s determined to win her back before she falls for another.
