Shirlee Kenyon, a candid and open-hearted woman from a small town, leaves her boyfriend behind for the excitement of Chicago. By chance, she ends up hosting a call-in radio show, showcasing her natural talent and securing an instant job. However, the station requires her to adopt the title of "Doctor," leading to a surge in her popularity.
