The Last Time I Saw Paris (1954)
Reporter Charles Wills arrives in Paris to document the conclusion of World War II, where he quickly becomes enamored with the enchanting Helen Ellswirth, after a fleeting connection with her sister, Marion. Following their marriage, Charles struggles to balance his dreams of becoming a novelist with the monotony of a newspaper job to support Helen. Just as their life takes a turn for the better with an unexpected inheritance, their relationship begins to fracture. A sudden tragedy, however, forces them to confront their priorities and the fragility of their love.
