Overview

After getting lost from their wagon train, Mr. Parish and his children fall prey to armed assailants. Young Anna and Jamie must escape into the wild, unaware that they possess a coveted treasure map. As gold-seekers George and Buzz track them down, they face dangers from the unpredictable mountain man McTavish. Yet, unlikely allies emerge to aid their journey, including a fierce wolf pack, a regal eagle named Balderdash, and a protective grizzly bear they affectionately name after their friend, Mrs. Mullen. Adventure and peril intertwine as they navigate this treacherous landscape.
