The Mind Reader (1933)
Con artist Chandler teams up with his partner Frank to launch a successful clairvoyant act. As they con unsuspecting clients, Chandler becomes enamored with Sylvia, one of their targets. However, the façade of their trickery begins to unravel, especially when Sylvia pushes Chandler to reassess his life choices and confront the consequences of his deceitful ways. Their budding romance hangs in the balance as he struggles between love and the need for redemption, ultimately questioning the morality of their con game.
