Overview

Ambitious District Attorney Mitch Brockden's life spirals out of control after he accidentally kills someone in a hit-and-run incident. To cover his tracks, he manipulates the trial of the man arrested at the scene, ultimately securing the accused's acquittal. However, guilt and dread consume him when he discovers that he set a murderer free.
