Around The Table (2021)
Haruko, a dedicated single mother, shares her home with her son Riku, along with her friend Aiko and Aiko's boyfriend, Sorao. Their dynamic shifts when Yuko, the daughter of Haruko's estranged friend Tomoyo, arrives for a summer art program. This unexpected guest brings with her a complicated history, as Haruko and Tomoyo haven't connected in years due to unresolved tensions. As the summer unfolds, the household navigates the challenges of past grievances and new relationships, forcing Haruko to confront old wounds while fostering a sense of belonging for Yuko.
